Edit: Hmm, didn't like the angle brackets. Let try that with square brackets. Replace every square bracket with an angle bracket to get it to work...

Edit2: And replace the parenthesis with curly braces shake Check out http://blogs.msdn.com/bowerm/archive/2006/12/07/light-up-ie7... for a more readable example.

Here is a simple way to enable the Search prividers in Internet Explorer 7. Just add the following link to the home page of BGG.

[link title="BoardGameGeek Search" type="application/opensearchdescription+xml" rel="search" href="http://www.boardgamegeek.com/BGGOpenSearch.xml" ]

And add this file as BGGOpenSearch.xml:

[?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?]
[OpenSearchDescription xmlns="http://a9.com/-/spec/opensearch/1.1/"]
[ShortName]BoardGameGeek Search[/ShortName]
[Description]Search for information about board and card games[/Description]
[Url type="text/html" template="http://www.boardgamegeek.com/metasearch.php?searchtype=game&search=(searchTerms)" /]
[SyndicationRight]open[/SyndicationRight]
[/OpenSearchDescription]

You can change the name and location of BGGOpenSearch if you would like.

Does that sound like a good idea?

Thanks,
Rob Cannon
