It be too late to alter course
An unofficial variant I created for Dead Men Tell No Tales. In the spirit of the original Co-op rules, this version will not include any attacking of other pirates.

Game play is essentially the same as stated in the rules.

If the players succeed they walk away with a certain number of points.
Players must agree to play a single game and have a winner, or play a certain number of games and add up the points from each game to determine the winner.

Points are awarded for what you do during the game.
*Each player that loots a treasure to the dinghy gains the number value of the guard in points.
*Each player that reduces a fire dice with a 5 on it gains one point.
*Each player that defeats a Skeleton Crew gains a point. (not including guards)
*Each player gains 1 point for each unused grog token they have at the end of the game.
* Each player gains 1 point for each pair of Deck Hands they kills on a turn. Jade must kill 3 to gain a point.

Players may not save action tokens to lend to the next player. If you don't use them you lose them.

Let me know what you think. I was going to make a point sheet that you can move cubes or tokens up as you gain points. I still might do that, but you can just use cubes, pennies or write on paper in the mean time.

Here are some slightly smaller tokens that may be used as point tokens. Just print a few sheets, spray glue to card illustration board and cut out.

OK here is a version of the rules card that also has spaces for cubes to track points. In case you don't want to use coins or tokens. Just another option.

It doesn't look like anyone has tried this out. Please post your thoughts if you do.
