Now that I have my storage issues addressed for this game (for the time being, anyhow), I'm jealously eyeing pictures of the cards stands in the first edition. I think it would be great to have a couple of those. Can anyone point me to a good source for something like that sold as an independent accessory?

I got mine with the original Battlelore game. They come with one of the Commands and Colors expansions, too. However, I have knocked them over so often, I ended up using my hand to hold the cards after all!

I think Ticket to Ride Expansion "Asia" or "Africa" have 5 Card Holders , but smaller and you can put Cards behind(good for standard cards, but not with text).

I'd rather they were cut a bit deeper, but they do look nice!

I've had good success with these. Upside they are cheap and allow you to group cards by rows. Down side the are large-ish about 4x8 inches and cards can be hard to see with multiple rows. But I'm satisfied.

How did you solve your storage issues? I bought both expansions and have to use foam core to make an insert. I actually extended the box height by about half to make a second tray row for them.

My cards are bagged in decks (Command cards, Daqan lore/units/armies, Uthuk lore/units/armies, Daqan deployment, Uthuk deployment, scenarios, Razorwing cards), dice are bagged, terrain tiles are bagged, terrain tokens are bagged, and Razorwings are in a small box, all of those go in the core game box, along with this plano full of tokens:

All Daqan and Uthuk figures go in this Ace Hardware 17-compartment "large utility box":

So I've got the whole kit in two boxes. I had been able to barely pack it all into the core box, but only by jumbling the figs together into four or five bags. I expect the other reinforcement figs will fit into the core box, until I get a new utility box they can share with the undead.

Those stands are great, I already used my old 1st edition ones. But currently I'm planning to make something from cardboard, but I'm still in the planning phase. Check my website for updates, if you like:

I had seen your BattleLore boxes, but I hadn't noticed your X-Wing card holders. Those are impressive! I'm interested to see what you come up with for BattleLore.

Thanks for the praise, and I'm interested, too, because it's nothing more than a shadow in my sun burned mind for now... cool

I see the Mountain Giant's "fist" token inside that box!
It is not available yet, is it?
How come?!

You get that token with the Razorwings too, and I imagine every neutral unit will come with one. The fist token is black on one side, white on the other. It's used in case two players each muster the same type of neutral unit to differentiate them.

I bought a bunch of cheap plastic card holders from Ben Franklin. I believe they were $3 each.

I saw some nice tiered clear plastic card/literature holders at an office supply place yesterday. They would each display eight cards, but they were too big to fit in the BattleLore box. $5 apiece, but I passed.
