Subject: Inventory decks, tile activations, and bonus dice rss

1) When you run out of cards in an inventory deck, can you reshuffle or are you out of luck?

1a) If you're allowed to reshuffle (which is what we did), St George is less threatening. His card says to discard a relics card, which is annoying, but if you keep looking for relics, you'll get to the point where you can reshuffle them anyway. Are we playing that right?

2) When activating tiles such as armory, hospital, forge, etc, does everyone get to do the activity, or just the character on the tile? Because of the way the attribute tiles work, there's been some confusion about this.

2a) Does activating a repair tile fix everything that's broken, or just one item? Does activating a healing tile heal both of Sir Gawaine's wounds (assuming he's been hit twice, of course)?

3) The Defilers of Stonehenge says "Ignore all bonus Stones of Chance when challenging druids." Does this include Myrddin's favoured enemy bonus, or just bonus dice from inventory cards?

Good questions!

1) When the cards in the deck run out, you're out of luck. There's no reshuffle.

2) When activating a tile, only the character on the tile gets the benefit.

2a) Each repair tile repairs only 1 card per activation, and each healing tile heals only 1 wound, even in the case of Sir Gawaine.

3) The restriction on bonus stones of chance applies to the favoured enemy bonus as well as bonuses from other sources. Just roll the number of dice indicated by the stat.

In general, the reason for most of these rulings is that we wanted the game to be very difficult. Since it's fully cooperative, we feel like the game has to be challenging enough to make up for the fact that you aren't facing off against another player.

Thanks for the clarifications. Lost the first game big time; out of 8 story tokens, only had 3, with three others on the board.
