Our first game was nearly 90 mins but this included explanation time and involved alot of referring to the manual throughout. I think we could get it down to about an hour in our next play.

If both people know the game well, I've played the game already in 35 minutes two player.

Wow, that's a fast game. I'm still waiting for my pre-order so I haven't played yet. How many times have you played the game to get down to 35 minutes?

The owner and I, having only read the rules, played in 45 minutes.

I've played 14 times thus far. The 35 minute game was my 10th play and the other person's second play. There is quite a bit of simultaneous play in this one.

Seeing these play times make me even more excited about the game. My wife will be more willing to get it to the table if we can play it in under an hour.

Josh - that shouldn't be a problem after your first play or two.

I would say that 2p games take around 60 minutes once you dont need to look at the instructions every once in a while. Because even when you remember the rules you still need time to understand where to go or what to do. The game offers several tracks to follow so the key is to stick to one strategy or goal (or a few) and go that way. Once you play this way (with more control over the game) plays get shorter, but imho never less than 45 minutes...but since you'll want to play again once you finish you should double that

We're at about 45-50 minutes after a dozen plays.
