Just something to watch out for:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1513061270/reaper-minia...

Checkout the second mini on the top right of that image. Brain canister anyone?

It will be interesting to see how large this mini is, and how expensive they will be some time next year when Reaper releases them for general sale. Unfortunately, it does not look like we can get them individually as part of the current Kickstarter. But who knows? Maybe we can raise a fuss...

Edit:
Actually, the video has a person handling the figure, so it looks a bit larger than a current cultist. Perhaps on the scale of a shoggoth.

Yeah, I'm a backer and thought the same thing. Luckily, Bones are fairly cheap. I would venture this miniature would cost around U$3 after the KS.

That is potentially rough though. $3 * 28 (4 per faction) = $84.

However, since its fairly unlikely that all factions would be present/have full brain cylinders, maybe the right tactic would be to take a page from CMON's book and get swappable bases.

I found a little $10 game that had 60 brain tokens in plastic. I'm just going to paint them and put them in a $10 surgical tube with a dollop of molded resin on top/bottom filled with Realistic Water tinted the Faction Color.

I actually bought a few of the D&D "brain in a jar" miniatures to use.

Little harder to find, but I like em.

They're also offering a $15 Shub-Niggurath figure.

Y'know, on the off-chance one isn't enough... goo

Problem is that even at $1 a figure, they get stupid expensive- you have to have 4 a faction, 8 (Including the mystery Wave 2 faction) factions, meaning bare minimum $32 plus shipping.
The figures are usually like $4-$6, so it turns into anywhere from $120-$300 if you want the full set, assuming you can find that many.

After so many threads begging me to turn the monsters & gods into flat cardboard tokens, I must admit it is a little refreshing to have one that is trying to turn cardboard into plastic.

Hey, since everyone is bringing theirs out, here's mine.

I made it for my 3D Printer, and I'll be printing and painting them for my game group.

This is the Brain Cylinder v6, and it took me a combined 10-12 hours from v1 to v6. The original v1 looks like a brain in a nescafe capsule, so I've come a ways.

It's a very small piece, 35mm diameter, so the finer details don't show perfectly, but I wanted something that did not add clutter to the board.

The bars are not cosmetic, but a structural necessity for the printer, and are removed once the piece is printed.

Suggestions welcome, I already had an idea for the v7 while writing this.
