Hi guys, need some help clarrifying after my first play

1) Road bonuses - The rules say: "A unit that partially moves along a road during a Move Phase may move four hexes total". This means a unit can only move 4 spaces if one of the moves is from a hex road to hex road right? Crossing a road does not give the Bonus correct?

2) ZOC's - Does a friendly unit negates a ZOC to the enemy thus allowing a friendly unit to pass by it? (we played like it could not since nothing is said in the rules although even if it's not in there we are so used to see this in other games).

Thanks

Ps. Good game, we really enjoyed playing it

That's correct.

Nope, the only way to break contact when you're in EZOC is to Retreat. Friendly units do not negate.
