I found myself looking at dice trays on Amazon (and bemoaning their expense) specifically for this game. In the heat of the moment it's all too easy to haphazardly chuck your dice onto the board or off the table, or fumble with your rolled and unrolled dice.

But that can also be part of the charm.

What do you guys think? And how do you handle dice related mishaps for this game?

We consider a dropped die to be equipment malfunction. The game goes on while you search for the missing die (unless you can play without it until the next pause).

Something I saw at the dollar tree and now I have to go back and get are some small silicone baking trays they were about 4" x 6" x 1.5" and came in different colors and would stack. I think I could easily squeeze 6 of these into the box. I just picked this game up today for $20 and it looks like it could be real fun.
