Some info about playstyles and future options.

You asked about linear playstyles - Its true that looking in, it might be a worry that with only 2 Factions present they might settle into a binary gaming interaction. But I haven't felt the game to be linear because there are so many levers built in that prevents this. With the flexible Battle Group build system, Specialist Battle Groups and most importantly the Fleet Commanders, there is more than enough to keep your opponent guessing and your gameplay to be varied.

Not to mention the new models that are coming out such as the Valiant, the Halberd, the Covenant Hydroponics Support Ship, the MAC Platforms, the CAS Assault Carrier, etc.... each of these give a different spin on the fleet mechanics.

Looking at the Fleet Commanders for a moment. We have given you 2 (Stanforth and Baratumme) in the core box but there are plans to make many more!...and there are the Heroes that attach to Elements in your fleet too...!

.....Are you a Covenant Player who is worried about getting boarded constantly by the UNSC? Take a Fleet Commander who believes in the power of First Strike action and board the UNSC before they can launch.

..... Are you a UNSC players who wants to improve your long range missile effectiveness?... Take a Hero that uses her AI-capabilities to literally 'switch off' the enemy Defence Arrays and Point Defence guns!

The scope of the adaptability in the game means that we will be playing each other for a good long time before we exhaust ourselves.... if ever!
