Heya,

I am beginning to think the best way to survive the Hunted is to start in Hunters, to give yourself a chance to make KptLt, maybe even get a Veteran or Elite crew. That would help a LOT with the aircraft situation.

After hitting the Hunted, the goal is to survive long enough to get a schnorchel I think. LOL.

Good luck next time!

Heya,

Started a IXC/40 U-boat in Sep 42. Have made 7 patrols so far and it's Jan 1945....looks like I'm going to survive. Getting the KC is HUGE, also got my choice of patrols zones, took Brazilian Coast, very lucrative.

Then went to the Indian Ocean. I'm currently in Penang. Indian Ocean is pretty yummy too, although the torpedo situation sucks pretty hard (I lost 7 torpedoes due to shortages both patrols from there.

After losing 5 boats in a row, this might be the ticket! LOL. I'll post it later. But it's looking good as long as I don't get greedy I think.

Excellent suggestion in starting with HUNTERS first, Greg. Or I suppose a workaround for those pressed with time would be to offer up some folks a chance to have elite crew or perhaps some other Random Event awards to start THE HUNTED with.
