When I want to reply to a forum post, do I reply to the OP, or add a new thread up the top of the OP, or Quick reply? Not sure which I'm meant to do!

Quick reply and reply are the same. Just hit reply (or quote, if there's a lot going on) at and type. It will appear as the last post in the talk. It's not reply threaded.

Just to clarify, if you only intend to add a comment to the end of the thread then you can 'reply' to any post and it will be added to the end of the thread regardless of which post you reply to, so it's easiest to 'reply' to the last post.
If you want to comment on something that happened a few posts back, then you can make it clear which one by including that post in yours, and add your comments below it. You do this by clicking quickquote on the post in question.
