The following podcast takes place in real time...except for all the boring stuff we cut out. We're playing the 24: DVD Board Game, where players help Jack Bauer to thwart terrorist threats by using such controversial tactics as navigating through slow, clunky menus with a DVD remote. It's a series of mini-games that combine the action packed "Thrills" of Dragon's Lair with the gritty, rule-breaking realism of "24" (toned down for family play, of course). Does this title capture the intensity and drama of the fight against terror, or is it really a mole waiting patiently in our collection? Plus: a Battle of Wits where nobody can be trusted...

Are there... Any... Good dvd games? And did the average amount of footage filmed include the bits during the commercials they filmed specifically for the BBC airing during S1 and S2? Not sure if they were useful to the show, I was always more of a [Spooks] viewer than a 24 viewer.

...The Battle of Wits, and your expression of team vs mole makes me wonder...

Seriously, why hasn't there been a Mole board game?

Glad people appreciate the "controversial" ending.

Controversial? I don't think so! It was in the spirit of the episode. This was clearly the best battle of wits ending to this day.

Flip made an exact guess to win the IMDB game in the Home Improvement episode. That still stands as my favorite Battle of Wits ending, but this moved into 2nd place.

Great episode!

Here's a fun story regarding 24.
My sister was a tech for many tv shows and one of these was for this show.
She lived close enough to the set that she would ride her skateboard to the convention center where they were filming. One day, she had just arrived to the set and was walking with her board and Mr. Sutherland himself was talking with her boss. He came up to her and asked, "Hey, who's board is that?" To which her obvious reply was "Mine." At this point he asks, "Can I ride it?" As he takes her board from her and sets it down. She then stands with her feet on either side of the board preventing him from riding. She then replied, " you are not allowed to ride a skateboard here." The site where they were filing that day had a rare marble on the stairs and is irreplaceable. He then picked up the board to go the other way, set it down and proceeded to take off. Just before he could, my sister put her foot on the tail of the board, causing him to fall to the ground. Again she replied, "you cannot ride here. If I let you ride I will get in trouble." At this point her boss then confirmed this. He got up off the ground in a huff and stormed off.

One of the better endings, certainly, but I still prefer Win, Lose or Banana.

Shout out for V:TES

I heard someone during the podcast say ,"I will rescue your minion from Torpor."

Yes, the game still lives even though White Wolf is no longer.
