I suppose it kind of depends on what kind of games you enjoy. My son and I love Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game, but you kind of have to like the superhero theme...

Space Hulk: Death Angel – The Card Game. A tiny, box, too, perfect for travel. Or, even better, just put the whole game in a smaller deck box.

There are several small expansions, too, if you really like it. I do.

Hanabi is a great coop game, very compact box (slightly larger than a cigarette pack), very intriguing gameplay, very cheap. Is a must-buy for coop lover.

Forbidden Desert pops into head. Same designer, different theme, fits in smaller tin box, modular board

Hanabi. I think the tile version is tops, but it is pricier and less compact.

If you are interested in word games at all, Paperback is a great option. It has both co-op and competitive modes. It also has a pretty small box and would pack pretty easily.

Star Realms can be played cooperatively.

Samurai Spirit comes in a relatively small box.

Tiny Epic Defenders would be easy to take on a road trip.
