So yeah, I know, this is stupid, the cards are plastic. I just can't help myself. I'm afraid the cards will mark if I don't sleeve them. What are the best sleeves for this game? (Also, while my copy arrived today, I don't have the exact size of the cards and I'm still at work, I don't have physical access to the cards at the moment.) Are they MTG-sized cards?

No, I think they actually aren't MTG sized. I think they are poker sized, which is a bit thinner?

I plan to just rebuy a copy for marked cards.

Hmm. Maybe I will only gift away four of my six copies.

I believe these are Yu-Gi-Oh-sized cards (also known as "mini-sized", "Bridge-sized" or "Japanese card sized"). Also, I had some black opaque Mayday Games 59mmx92mm sleeves handy and they fit the cards almost perfectly. There's just a smidge of room up top, so if 59mmx89mm exist, those would be the perfect sleeves. The closest UltraPros I could find were these:

http://www.ultrapro.com/product_info.php?products_id=1282 (56mmx89mm)
http://www.ultrapro.com/product_info.php?products_id=1005 (59mmx92mm)
http://www.ultrapro.com/product_info.php?products_id=1551 (62mmx89mm)

Ah, that's right. Bridge sized, not poker sized.

That sounds the same as Dominion. You could look at this geeklist to see what people suggest for this size of cards from each manufacturer.

I took my copy into my FLGS and we tried several sleeves and finally settled on Mayday chimera sleeves (57.5x89mm). Part number is 7044. The deluxe version is 7078. I found these to fit very well although I'm probably going to upgrade to the 7078's.

I've tried both just now and the 7044 is better. The 7078 is a thicker plastic, but that means they have less room inside them. You really have to force the cards into the premium chimera sleeves, and even then the cards are bowed.

As with almost every "hidden role party game card game" I have, I double sleeved all of my Two Rooms cards in both a thin plastic card sleeve, and a heavy duty UltraPRO Toploader (http://www.ultrapro.com/product_info.php?products_id=1372).

Not everyone you're going to be playing this game with has the common sense to not do things like stuff their card into their pocket, pensively scratch their beard stubble with the card edge, use the card as a beer coaster, or pick their teeth (which are ALL activities I've watched people freaking do with my Dixit, Resistance, Werewolf and Mafia cards)

Sleeve the hell out of them.

You have good taste when it comes to games and poor taste when it comes to people. I would fucking stab someone that did that with my cards.

But I'm not sure if I'll be able to sleep tonight without sleeving my TR&aB.

since it's a hidden role game, keeping your card in your pocket seems understandable. everything else you said is really bizarre.

"Understandable" in as much as the card is now crumpled, sweaty, and ruined.
