D-Day Dice: Badges is an expansion to D-Day Dice. A Badge can be drawn at random by a Unit that obtains a "Battle Cry" RWB. The Badges have a permanent effect for the Unit, unlike Awards or Items, but more like Specialists.

Presentation
This is a small card set. It includes nine Badges, rules, and a Badge-related Award (the "Efficiency Medal").

The Good Stuff
It's always good to have additional components for a favored game. The Badges have a tendency to make the game easier, so one thing I liked about the set is that it deducts five points from your final score for each Badge you use. That, IMHO, offsets the easing of the game.

The Bad Stuff
The only negative thing I have to say is that this is a scarce set, as it was given to supporters of the D-Day Dice Kickstarter campaign. It is difficult to obtain today. I think it was supposed to become generally available, but Valley Games has run into difficulties and that just isn't happening.

Conclusion
If you are a fan of the game, I highly recommend seeking these out in the secondary markets. They add a lot of variety to the game. I give this a high recommendation.
