I've had iOS San Juan for years now (2013 at least) and I've played it loads.

I recall initially trying to play online and it would always drop players. I gave up and hoped there would be a patch.

Roll on two years and I revisited it last night. Lo and behold the same problem "player x has left the game and has been replaced by a computer opponent".

Is there a fix or a clever trick to get this to work, or has the online game been abandoned by the developer and I should just give up?

Thanks

The online play works fine. Play agains my wife all the time. You just can't leave the screen.

It could be your opponents just dropping. I've played against family a bunch. But not once in the history of this game have I completed a game with a random.
