|I was wondering if anyone has referenced where each of the ships and squadrons can be found in the movies yet? Perhaps some are only seen in the animated TV shows. I am not sure. Anyone?

My question is since it is backed by Disney, does that bring all of Armada's ships an characters back into canon?

The ships are canon. That doesn't mean the previously-mentioned stuff like the Droids cartoon is.

Thanks for the quick response and for pointing me towards wookiepedia. I guess there is quite a bit of room for Waves of ship expansions based on the available material.
