I should know this, I've been here for years. But I don't.

I want to make it where I can go to a list of games I was interested in checking out later or keeping up with news concerning, etc. On Amazon, I'd stick it on my wishlist. On Netflix, I'd put it in my queue. In other places, I'd bookmark it.

On boardgamegeek, I'd _________ it.

Please fill in the blank?

There is a bgg wishlist, you can set one of five levels of interest in the record information section at the bottom of a game page.

There's many different things you could do. The two I'd consider first would be to tag it with something unique (for you) just for this purpose (in the "Tags" section click "Add tags"), or to add it to your wishlist (use the "Record information" button in the "User Information" section, and then check Status: Wishlist).

I just add things to my "Quick Bar" (at the top of the page).

I give it a status of "Want to Play", and sometimes add comments.

At the risk of stating the obvious - why not bookmark it?

The bookmark option is towards the top right of the screen. It's not available from the main game page, but is from any thread in a game forum.

You can bookmark any thread for any game.

Go to any thread in any game you want to bookmark and add it to your bookmark by clicking "bookmark".

For example bookmark a review from games you are interested in.

Then you can review your bookmarks by clicking on "bookmarks" from the top of any forum page.

This should work well, especially if you reserve the bookmark option for this list, otherwise your bookmarks will get a bit cluttered.

I just use subscribe for everything else.

Of what's mentioned, I like wishlist "thinking about it" or subscribing, maybe just to news. Bookmarking is okay, but you can run out of QuickBar slots, and a browser bookmark/favorite list can get unmanageable (I used this method in the past, creating a folder just for interesting games).

Other options are "Become a Fan" or Facebook-like. You could also maintain a list (or lists) of links in a draft GM or in some other program.

Still another option is to regularly clean your Recently Viewed list so only interesting games are on it. This is what I do now if I don't subscribe to the game.

I use "Record Information". Next to "Add a Copy to Collection", does the same thing but doesn't mark it as owned. Shows up on your collection page, without the "Owned" status. From there you can give it a wishlist status from 1-5, but if it's just for noting things I might want to look into further, I don't bother with the wishlist number.
