When it s time for the Time chit Impulse do all battalions get to draw a chit or is it done only once during this phase and only one battalions gets the chit draw event?

Hi Dan,

You choose a regiment to activate. You will draw one time chit for that Regiment. Each Regiment activates once per turn and its component battalions perform movement and combat actions after the one Time Chit has been drawn and resolved for the Regiment. Time Chits are not drawn for battalions.

Hope this helps.

Lembit

You begin the game with 3 Marine Regiments; therefore, on each turn you will go through the upper sequence of play (see map) 3 times (once for each regiment) during Impulse I and II -- and thus you will have 3 Time Chit pulls per turn (once per regiment when they are activated).

During Intensity III, if the 321st Army Regiment is in play, you will now have 4 regiments to activate and thus 4 Time Chit pulls per turn.

During Intensity IV, if the 322nd Army Regiment is in play, you will now have 5 regiments to activate and thus 5 Time Chit pulls per turn.

Note: Rule 5.4. It is implied that you do not pull for a Time Chit for a regiment if Army reinforcements arrived during that regiment's 5.2 Army Arrival Impulse. Reinforcements replace the "bonus" you would normally have received in a Time Chit pull.

This explains Rule 3.3 Intensity which states that, "An Intensity Chit will usually be drawn at the start of each regiment's Activation Segment."
