Here the truceless armies yet / Trample, rolled in blood and sweat; / They kill and kill and never die; / And I think that each is I. // None will part us, none undo / The knot that makes one flesh of two, /
badge
Sick with hatred, sick with pain, / Strangling -- When shall we be slain? // When shall I be dead and rid / Of the wrong my father did? / How long, how long, till spade and hearse / Puts to sleep my mother's curse?

My local movie theater was playing the movie 'Yo Soy Cubano' (I am Cuba - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Am_Cuba), a very good and well made movie. Since I just found out today about this expansion for Cuba Libre, I thought I post this. Thanks!

Saw this movie many years ago and it had some amazing cinematography for its time (I still wonder how they managed to do some of it). The stories are a bit heavy handed, but definitely worth watching for those with open minds. Great movie recommendation for the exapansion, Mr. Ells.

Yes, they have the usual tropes of the Soviet films, but the cinematography is very advanced and enjoyable. The techniques are way ahead of their time. I'm glad this 'lost' movie got rescued and appreciated again.

This film was shown a year or so ago, maybe two years now, on the Turner Classic Movie channel. I watched it, enjoying the masterful cinematography and how it set the stage for the revolutionary fervor of the times, making Cuba Libre an even more compelling game playing experience. Looking forward to extending the experience with Invierno Cubano!
