Because most cards have this as an ambush effect when you return a card to the lineup because of Rise of the Living Dead does it trigger again? If you're playing Deadlands with the Ghost Riders you could wind up running a whole herd of cards right from the victory piles to the escape pile.

I think that's the point -- the zombie villains scare the bejeezes out of me.

And 3 of them become masterminds, so not even the escape pile is safe.

So playing Solo with Goblin, Deadlands and Ghost riders would be neigh impossible to beat.

This checks out with the GotG Rules clarifications: "When card effects like the scheme cause a Villain to enter the city at an unusual time, do the normal Ambush effects". Deadpool's 'Here, Hold This for a Second' and Ghost Rider's 'Blazing Hellfire' look like premium material if you ever want to brave The Deadlands in single player.

Deadlands in multiplayer sounds like they are actually tamer because there's a variable amount of Villain groups, not to mention you can strategically keep the ones with beneficial Fight effects on top to at least reap some value (Ghost Racers, MODOK, Madame Hydra), but yeah, unless the scheme is churning out Bystanders, such as Killbots, Transform Citizens into Demons or Save Humanity, good luck trying to stop these guys from breaking through on your own

Technically the same thing could happen with Maggia Goons if you shuffled the deck like crap and had a bunch of them come out in a row.

This was exactly how I lost organized crime wave, one Maggia Goon came out and brought 5 of his friends. Game Over.

Wouldn't that be the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse?

Hi Brandon,
Eduardo is right in quoting the Guardians of the Galaxy rulesheet:
Eduardo wrote:

So Villains that reenter the city through Rise of the Living Dead use their Ambush abilities again, which can trigger a whole horde of horrifying, reanimating Zombies.

Any Heroes that rescue Bystanders from the Bystander Stack can also help keep the Zombies under control in Solo Mode. Or kill Henchmen at the right time to keep those Zombies buried!

I played a solo game tonight with Villain -dead lands, ghost riders, and the duel city scheme. Played it twice and lost both. It's near impossible to beat with advanced solo rules. Twist into twist into master strike into twist is gross.
