Anyone know where I can get the kind of board card used for a board (or for making tokens) in the UK?

And is it just card of a very high gsm? 800gsm.

I usually just buy a cheap copy of Monopoly or similar in a charity shop and reuse the board in there.

That's a dreadful idea. You might be SEEN making the purchase! laugh

That's why I always wear my 'Monopoly Disposal Authority' parka, so people know I'm on official MDA business.

You might be thinking of "greyboard". It comes in several different thicknesses. Google for it - probably stockists on Amazon or eBay will offer best value. Local 'craft' store is likely to have it - but at much higher cost.

Yep "greyboard" is what you want.

In the past I've also used cheap ring binders for making my own boards.

I use Mounting board which makes for some nice thick counters. This can be purchased from Hobbycraft and some Ranges do it too. I used to buy it from Staples although I haven't seen it in there for a while. You can buy an A1 sheet for £3 and it comes in 20 - 30 different colours. Mounting board is the stuff they use to mount pictures in picture frames.
