The first time I played this I watched the video's by both Sam and Tom for a quick idea of the rules. Both stated that any lava tile placed cannot allow the flow to redirect upwards, or back toward the volcano (an upward direction, defying the laws of gravity). However, the rules, as well as the stratus video, show the opposite...even placing tiles from a lower eruption tile back up towards the volcano. I suppose the rules trump any ones opinions, but the backward lava flow does seem a little peculiar. Any thoughts?

Don't have rules in front, but the rule is that lava cannot flow directly back into the central flow. This would only occur in the first ring around the central flow, and not for any subsequent rows.

Lava can flow back toward the middle, but a tile cannot be placed to flow directly back.
