Can't decide on if I should buy the upgrade pack or not.

Opinions?

I fall on the "I upgraded" side.

I ended up buying a new 2nd Edition complete. The big thing for me was the new consistent wording for war based effects.

Pass. This was actually one of the bigger disappointments I've experienced from a game purchase. Meh.

I initially didn't want to upgrade, but with the pledgemanager I decided to go ahead and do it. I absolutely don't think it's necessary, but I figured it would annoy me having the race cards formatted differently.

Not upgrade. The game is good as it is and at a $25 game. It's not a $40 game.

I got the upgrade pack mostly so the factions would be formatted the same, but also for the new shaped tokens.

I skipped the upgrade. I didn't see enough changes to warrant the extra money. I don't care about the tokens and the rules changes are all easy enough to implement without needing new components.
