Hi All,

I think I have this right but would like confirmation.

My question is this:

Is the Movement Segment of the Reaction Phase considered "friendly" in regards to 14.9 Air transport?

As an example, In Tunisia Scenario 1 - The Race to Tunis, as the Axis player, If I setup the Ju52 and SM82 in Sicily (an infinite supply dump)can I air transport the 3-5 FJ (Battalion, 3MA=1T)+ 2T to Bizerte in the reaction phase of the Allied first turn?

I think I can, but I haven't seen this carried out in the AARs I've been reading, so not sure.

Thanks

You can air transport units in reaction phase.
14.9d:

Quote:
Combat units must be released reserves (or
Exploit-marked) to move (and possibly
attack) before/after a mission during
Reaction or Exploitation
—all other units
being air transported in these phases
essentially have an MA of zero (and
cannot attack).

Thanks for replying and confirming.

Also thanks for pointing out that the 3-5FJ needs to be in reserve if I want it to move/attack afterwards.

I hadn't thought of that.
