three ships each month = at least 36 retail ships in a year
an OP per month = 12 ships minimum in a year
blind boosters = 10 more ships in a year

Total: this adds up to at least 58 ships a year; this is not counting possibilities of extra releases like space stations, etc

problem is that I still want more!!!

Am I the only one?

Probably not. I will refrain from your band wagon though. I would actually prefer less. I actually plan to cut my STAW spending.

I would also prefer less if it meant more playtesting and fewer worthless cards.

I'm on the Quality over Quantity side.

I'm fine if cards are worthless for OP - but useful/fun for casual play.

But I would prefer a bit more quality control, and play testing for better priced and more playable cards/ships.

Though I would love a K'tinga/D7 without errors

I think they're going with a "spray and pray" model for that model. Just keep releasing new sculpts, and eventually one of them will be right.

Nope, there is a lot of material, so wanting more only seems reasonable to me.

I'm thinking about chopping up a few ships and compiling all the errors on 1 ship

I think we've all got at least one ship out there that we want so desperately that it keeps us on the edge every time there's news of new ships, until hopefully the day it'll come out. (Mine's the U.S.S. Appalachia)

Though, there actually aren't 12 ships per year from OP prizes - they skip a lot of months, so it's typically more like 8-10.

Shame they didn't stop at the blind booster...

I think their assembly line is so used to assembling Birds of Prey that they assumed the engines were guns and faced them accordingly.

Haha yes but how far can they go with only canon to play with? If wizkids had the rights to none canon then the options would endless they could pull from STO, Armada 2 etc and other video games that would be awesome

Yeah, think I want to mop up some older stuff and maybe a big cube.
Really watching new buys, fewer things I want coming out recently.
Even with that, gonna be expensive!

+1 - and hopefully not MIRROR...

I'd also love the U.S.S. Constellation with the Doomsday Machine scenario - preferably with a special 3 part token in the ship pack that snaps together for the Doomsday machine!!

Nice idea. On the converse, I hope that they don't make a three part Doomsday Machine ship model hidden and spread across blind boosters laugh

LOL - yeah, that would be one heck of a chase

But, knowing our luck, the 3 puzzle pieces will be all male-male ends, so you won't be able to put them together

I'm glad to see that we're getting into somewhat obscure releases now and that Wizkids is willing to do new sculpts for the ships and even make an effort to improve the paint jobs on them to be more eye catching as well; see current wave release.

I hope to see an Enterprise B and C show up in next years retail release schedule since there is a decent amount of content to draw from for both to make them good retail expansions.

The Xindi releases are going to be pretty cool I think and VERY hard to resist snapping up multiples of.
