This is probably self-explanatory, but as with a lot of beat-your-score dice chuckers, Martian Dice lends itself pretty well to a couple of quick solo variants:

1) Play for 10 rounds, and try for a new high score. Mine's currently 36 points, which is probably abysmal for 10 rounds

2) Play to 25 (or more) points, and count rounds -- golf scoring here, fewer rounds is obviously better.

3) Attempt to hit some target score within a number of rounds (this adds a win/loss element, rather than just 'beat your score').

I've only played #1, but it's quite enjoyable to me. Just thought I'd post here for posterity.

my best so far is 39 in 10 rounds
(started with a lucky 10-pointer )
