I'm really into the supply and SOF rules but not sure I want to spend so much time with the air war.

Is it possible to play Advanced scenarios while omitting Air Power rules?

This question goes for Taiwan and India-Pakistan as well.

Thanks for any insight.

I'd recommend the streamlined advanced airpower rules. I think they were printed in C3i 27 and may be available on Mitch's support site. Since anti-access/area denial and suppression of enemy air defenses are such an important part of these conflicts, I'd be hesitant to omit them completely. The streamlined rules will reduce the wristage quite a bit.

I don't know that I'd omit them entirely, but see 29.1 in the rules for using the Standard Game air rules with the Advanced Game scenarios.

The advanced air rules are excellent. I really enjoy that part of the game. You really ought to give it a try.

Its cool, but it almost doubles the length of game play for a modest game play bonus.
