Ettin Games, of Humble, Texas, hosted a tournament on, August 8, that featured Eastern Front scenarios. The scenarios played were a modified Russian Breakout, Battle for Warsaw and Breakout to Lisyanka. The modification to Russian Breakout was to allow the Soviets a free DIG IN as part of the set up. With 8 players the Axis were 5-3 with medal averages of 4.88 and 3.75 respectively, for Russian Breakout. After 3 rounds 4 players squared off for the championship and consolation round. Stalingrad Red Barricades was the final scenario with players casting lots for the chosen side as we played only once. Patrick Lee won the championship and Mike West won the Consolation.
The next tournament for the JKP group, in the Houston area, will be some time in November or December.
