If you purchased the 'card only' version of Bedlam - you can assemble certain game elements by cutting out the cards.

Here's how.

Note: BE VERY CAREFUL not to confused the Heart and Mind counters with the Enemy Stat counter. They look very similar but are cut differently.

Cut this sucker down the middle.

Heart and Mind counters
These can be used to keep score. You can make any number up to 18 using these numbers.

Cut 'em all up but don't mistake them for ...

Enemy Stat Counter
Cut this thing down the middle to - the two halves are placed on either side of the Pile, and used to keep track of an Enemy's stats as they change.

Event Counters, Enemy Stat pointer, Gizmos
The corner pieces are Gizmos which use with your Sliders. The arrows are to use in conjunction with the Enemy Stat Counter to keep track of changing Enemy Sanity and Courage. The 9 middle squares are Event Counters. Cut these all up.

Methods of Cutting
Dave suggests cutting these up using a scalpel, box cutter, stanley knife, razorblade or sharp kitchen knife, and a metal ruler as a guide.

If you're like Sam who thinks Dave is being way too anal, just cut everything up with a good pair of scissors.
