Each Magi is given one "Avak'shar" card at the beginning of the game. Magi are allowed to only see the code of their own single "Avak'shar" card. Play "Serpent's Tongue" as usual with one exception: any Magi that looses one "Essence" due to a spell must disclose one of the characters from the one "Avak'shar" card that has been dealt out at the beginning of the game. One character per one "Essence". The first Magi to guess the complete code of an opponent's card correctly is the winner.

Are there any other ideas on "Avak'shar" card usage in the game?
Who has the best variant?

The codes are pretty hard to guess, but novel idea bringing the Avak-Shar cards into it.

Another thought would be to link characters in the code to resonance or harmony, ie a rule like "resonance this round is equal to the number of consonants minus the sum of the count of the vowels and numbers".

There could be incidents happening during the course of the game that would make you receive an Awak'shar card. One would then collect them as each section of the code would unlock a particular power or allow a particular action for example on the "Sacred Site" gaming mat that came with the Core game. Now, which particular actions could this possibly be, and which incidents could make you receive an Awak'shar card? Who can solve this riddle, unravel the mystery?
