Any of the designers got some maps they've stashed somewhere that could be printed at a local printer?

As in... Carcassonne map?

Great question. We actually designed many maps for the game (with river rules, with inner keep so walls are inside too, etc).

We will inquire with the publisher and see what is possible. If they have intentions of printing more maps - then maybe you can help us with play testing. If the publisher has no interest in printing expansions, then we will provide some of our prototype art for PnP expansion boards.

Happy to help and play in either case!

Also some recommendations...

* City separated by a river.
* City with a very small footprint (fewer roads, more competition for districts)
* Nicosia (historical city) map
* City with some bonuses to votes already laid out on the map (instead of using the chits) - representing ideal population locations

Any update?

Also more ideas:

* Canals for placement instead of roads. (+1 to votes on either side)

* Instead of taking a turn placing a card, a one-time placement of shrines or buildings that add a fixed amount of units of the majority, second majority player.

* If population gets too high in some city areas, plague happens and reduces all population by a random amount.

Great questions. Sadly nothing to update. Stephen & I are still enjoying testing/developing additional maps and if we are asked - we will be ready with new maps (with new twists).

Meanwhile, i believe the publisher is encourage some more review videos and hopefully help this game be known to more players. If the game keeps selling and receiving positive reviews/ratings - maybe the expansions will be released. Only time will tell. Thanks for asking...
