I tend to play using the Base Set of Cards & mixing in one of the 3 Expansion Card Sets but never 2 or 3 of the Expansion Sets at the same time.

It would be interesting to hear how the others use or mix their expansion sets with the Base set.

If there are already discussions on this, please just include the link in your reply. TIA!

I try not to go above the max amount of cards in the base set. So, if I mix some of the new cards in, I'll also take that many out. OR, I will keep the same LOCATION CARDS TO REGULAR CARDS ratio as was in the base set.

Another vote for all in, it works fine for me. I expect the new expansions will work the same, can't wait

I'm glad most of you are using all of the cards! The good news is that with all of the new expansion cards, the card mix is always the same. Same % of locations, action cards, support, all of that. So you can play with all 9 expansions, good luck to your wrists though!

Pffttt! Who needs wrists? I shuffle the cards into mini stacks and then split them off into separate decks every so often that I cycle through. Then I redo it from time to time to mix things up.

I'm sure I'll have to revisit my strategy eventually when the new goodies come (runs to check mailbox/doorstep....), but for now it works to keep a fresh rotation/combo of cards for me!

Okay, that helps to read Radom Maroszeks' suggestions.

I bought the game and the first three expansions. Once I sleeved them, and added the three expansions to the core set, there was serious 'card tower' issues - the Action Deck stack threatened to topple at any excuse.

I like Radom's idea, separate the Action Deck stack into three manageable piles, and use one pile for a game. I liken this to events or situations not being exactly as you hoped. sauron
