I initially thought something like Letters From Whitechapel or Mr. Jack. But I think simple is the way to go with this person.

So perhaps a more traditional gateway game? Something cooperative like Pandemic or Forbidden Island?

Or even a gateway-like party game such as The Resistance, Coup or the new Codenames.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

Given their predilection for Clue (Deduction) and CaH (Party Game), I'd do a batch of cheap deductive party games: Resistance, Coup, and One Night Ultimate Wereworlf.
