Start with a ship that costs total no more than 25 points (upgrades included) and no hull greater than 3. Ship must stay symbol faction pure throughout the scenario and can never have higher than a 3 hull. All resources (except for reinforcement sideboard) are available but if you use the Flagship resource keep in mind only the Romulan and 1 Independent Flagship has no bonus to the hull.

Random start zones are assigned to each ship in the scenario.

Once your ship is destroyed, you will add 10 points of upgrades (35 point total) to the current ship. You cannot remove/replace any upgrade previously assigned. Exception is if you started with a generic captain then the captain card can be upgraded once. You will return back to the field at the end phase of the turn you were destroyed. Start within range 1 of any edge and not within range 3 of an enemy ship.

Once that ship is destroyed, you will add a final 10 points of upgrades (45 points total) to the current ship. Same upgrade and placement rules apply.

Scoring = 1 point per damaged shield or hull you inflicted. Excess damage does not count (example you did 6 damage and they have 2 hull left you receive 2 points).

Scenario ends when there is one ship left and scores are tallied. The last ship standing gets a bonus of 3 points.

Any comments are appreciated.

Awesome idea. My only suggestion, for practical reasons, is to advise/require players to have their additional upgrades pre-planned. Otherwise things will get stalled out while they flip through their binders. Unless you'd like them to be able to adapt to current board tactics, in which case you might just let them sit out a round or two if they want to plan.

Good suggestion and the plan was preplan. I will add that to the listing. Also, added the sideboard.
