Just realized I missed a post from BGW about new bundles over the weekend. Are any of these worthwhile?

I'd been thinking about Eldritch Horror. I do love me some Cthulhu, and I hear it's better than Arkham.

Maybe the Knizia bundle? I like Ingenious, but Tigris and Euphrates seems like a very different type of game.

Any others worth picking up for someone with just medium experience?

Shoot! Just noticed the Bauza bundle. I haven't had the chance to play any of those, but I gather they're right about in my range.

We are saving up for a down payment, but otherwise I'd really like to get that Cosmic bundle. With some luck these will still be around for the holidays.

I've played Eldritch Horror on Tabletop Simulator, and it's a pretty fun coop game with Cthulu elements. I think it's been 7 years since I've played Arkham, so I barely even remember it to compare it, but I've heard the same thing.

Also, it's $20 cheaper than Amazon prime. I just priced it. BGW is free shipping after $100.

I dunno, owning any one game in a bundle pretty well kills the deal. For me, that kills almost all of them.

I think the question was about the games, not the prices.

Great idea to bundle the games! I agree that if you already have a game collection, this isn't a hot deal… but if you're new to this hobby, it's a great way to get a collection going. Nice mix of games (e.g. multiple iterations of small game bundles listed) as well as honing in on particularly popular board game designers (Mr. Feld, I'm looking at you!).

WOW the actually Have Plunder in a bundle but do not show any inventory when doing a search. I did not think that anyone still had any copies of that game.

You could always give the duplicates away as gifts.

Everything I've seen from BGW seems top notch, including these newer bundles. The only problem is they whisper to me. "Tony, you know you want me. You've been wanting me for a loooooong time. Why not give in and take me home? Then you can say you had me, had Arkham, all for yourself? Come and get me, Tony. I'll make all your dreams come true."

Er, or something like that.

Would love to support them, but their shipping prices are absolutely outrageous. I think they quoted me $42 for Onririm last I checked..... that was ground shipping....

Fortunately, many of these bundles are near or above the $100 free shipping threshold, so you could take a look at the Solo bundle which includes Onririm ($63). Worth considering, at least. Fwiw, I just priced out the shipping on that game and I was $12.12 on UPS ground, so perhaps you were just misquoted?

I've had a couple orders into Bgw in the past. Everything ships fast and is packed well. For instance, I placed an order at 2:16 pm today and got my shipping info at 3:45. Their service is top notch, so maybe give a second shot at supporting them

I was thinking of buying the 2 Player Bundle... but I already own Mr. Jack Pocket. Is it still worth it for the other 3 games? For reference, they are:

Splendor
Lost Cities
Jaipur
plus Mr. Jack Pocket for $64 without shipping. If I did buy it, I'd most likely find some more items to get it up to $100 for the free ship.

Lots of people enjoy Splendor IMMENSELY, there is no question the production quality is high, I found it decent. IMHO, Jaipur is one of the best 2 games on the market, with several clever game mechanisms squeezed into a short play time. Lost Cities is one of those Grand Dames of gaming, around forever and still mentioned from time to time, in the way Carc or Catan does.
