Quick question as I try to follow the Operation Husky example of play. In the 1st allied movement phase during the invasion, it looks like the 5th British inf. near Siracusa is moving from ezoc to ezoc, as it begins the invasion in the zoc of the static Italian unit. (diagram, top of page 30)is this a legal move?

Thanks!!

Right... This is a mistake. I started doing the examples of play at the beginning of the design and at that time the Italian Static units had semi-porous ZOCs. This was changed later down the road and I forgot to adjust the example (same problem with the American Paratroop retreating from the Italian attack on the first turn on a "D" result: at first the "D" was only a one-hex retreat result, I changed it to 2-hex).

Sorry about that.

Let's say that the designer "cheated" on turn 1. blush

It's interesting that so many wargamers are also Rush fans. I'm a lifelong fan and have seen just about every tour since 1978 and twice on the most recent R40 tour.

Circumstances lyrics ...

Plus c'est la meme chose

I got the last word wrong. Old man's poor recollection after too many loud Rush concerts.

Also a Shock-Counterblow marker on italian unit, which is not possible according to 22.6

For my own edification - no SC marker allowed on Italians?

Nope, read rule 22.6 second bullet.

in retrospect that was probably one chrome rule too many... soblue

Will perhaps revisit next year when I post a "living rules" version.

Pas de problem - actually makes sense that Italians would not benefit from a German expertise.

Living Rules update?! Interesting

There are not much erratas up to now, but normally I like for my designs to put out a Living Rules version incorporating them all, and perhaps a few tweaks, a year down the line.
