Has anyone ever kept track of how long it takes for a FFG release to actually hit shelves after it's marked "on the boat"? I'm sure it varies, but maybe there's an average?

This is FFG's own definition:

On the Boat

The product is traveling from the printer to our warehouse. The duration of this process varies depending on where the printer is located, be it in the US, China, or Germany, but generally takes four to six weeks.

Nice, I guess we can expect it to be available in October then. I hope some copies will show up in Germany as well.

one thing great about FFG, i mean other than their quality, great line up of games etc etc, pretty much when they announce a game it's almost no time before it's on the shelves. Love it. so much less anticipation

Does this mean we'll start seeing some preview articles on the FFG site now? I mean, once the Star Wars Episode 7 furor has died down of course...

MAJBrown22 wrote:

Of course it is; FFG has that ship reserved for all of their games!

I'd hazard a somewhat educated guess at 2-3 weeks till a preview.

Fury of Dracula went to On the Boat on the same day as this, and there's a little teaser video put up for it today. So I think we can expect something soon, with luck.

Fury of Dracula, which as I said in my previous post went on the boat on the same day as WHQ, is as of today marked as 'Shipping now'. Hopefully WHQ will be updated shortly.

I guess the old phrase "slow boat to/from China" is applicable here...

Yeah. The information on FFG says that it generally takes 4-6 weeks but it's now been 8 weeks.

Maybe its stuck in the customs process and delayed a bit? I wish FF would give updates on long shipments but I doubt that's their policy.

Fury of Dracula is now available and WHQ is still listed as being on the boat. I'm starting to think that November 23rd release date listed on Amazon might be correct.cry
