My apologies if this has already been discussed, but I couldn't locate a previous thread about it...

I'd like to try sleeving my Steampunk Rally cards, but I'm not sure which size is going to work best... so I wanted to see if anyone else has done this and found a size that worked for them.

Thanks for your help!

Standard American Board Game Size, ie. 2 1/4 by 3 1/2.

I've used Fantasy Flight Supply Sleeves Green packs. Great fit.

This is first game I sleeved and Gavan of Roxley recommend these specifically. They fit perfectly and 4 packs (200 sleeves) is exactly the right amount!

I bought those FF sleeves, and they're a bit too long. 2mm sticks out. Just a warning.

If they were any shorter the actual card end would be subject to wear during shuffling. That's why manufacturers make sleeves slightly longer that the suggested card size. 2mm isn't much of a overlap.

I agree, but perhaps there's another option that leaves 1mm? From eviltwinsv on the comments page: "The Ultra-Pro Standard American "Yellow" (56 x 87mm) fit the cards perfectly with almost no border (and are only about 1mm longer than card)." I haven't tried these ones though, so I can't vouch for them.

I used these to sleeve the game and they work great.

@Mamono Hunter Stevie

I used Ultra Pro: Standard American – Yellow (56 x 87mm) sleeves.

The cards fit VERY well. Took a picture for you to see the fit.

Mayday premium std USA sleeves (also 56x87) are a very nice fit too, although as always, I'm findin 2-3 sleeves per pack that are 1mm less wide; normally not a huge issue, but when the cards are fitting so snug, it makes these sleeves useless (they cause a slight curving of the card).

But still, 6 packs of these are cheaper than 4 packs of anything else, so I just throw away the odd sleeves as I go !
