Fellow BGGers, GrandCon 2015 fast approacheth! Who all will be in attendance this year? I'll be there with my wife Atalie, our second year at the con. What about you?

Is anyone running a flea market or no-ship math trade geeklist this year?

I am in for all 3 days (Sept 25-27). It is at the Crowne Plaza in Grand Rapids, MI.

The website is http://www.grand-con.com/. This is the third year and will have over 1,500 to 2,000 attendees.

I'll be there all three days. I will be bringing along Wicked Pizza that I hope to play in the prototype hall at some point during the convention. If anyone who is going there wants to do a no-ship trade I'd be up for that, just check my trade list and let me know by geek mail and I will be sure to bring the trade along.

See you there!

Cool!

Did you register the game for the proto hall or are you just doing a walk-in with it?

What I normally like to do at these conventions is to bring along games that I wouldn't normally be able to play at a game night, either due to length, or the fact that I just haven't learned it yet. With that in mind, here are the games I'm looking to bring/play if anyone is interested!

Exodus: Proxima Centauri
War of the Ring (Second Edition)
Blood Rage - I've actually played this one already, but would love to play it again.
Flick 'em Up!
Madeira
Maria

Blood Rage is the only one I've played, so if anyone knows any of these and would be willing to teach, I'd be willing to learn and play with you!!

See you there!

I can absolutely teach Imperial Settlers, and I think I remember Bruges enough that I could fumble through an explanation

Went looking for a GrandCon microbadge today. Turns out there isn't one! If any one handy in that sort of craft wants to make one, I'd totally sport it on my profile. This year's lion head logo would be perfect.

I don't have any events scheduled on Sat morn or early sat afternoon --- having never gone before how does the usage of gen con library work... is there a specific area to go to (you don't need tickets or anything to use correct? ) or if someone has some pick-up games going on from listings above.

There will be an open gaming area near the library. To get games from there you just need to pick the ones you would like to play and sign them out. I think they just use your badge and there is a limit to how many are able to be taken out at once. You can also bring your own games and play them in the open gaming area. We will be over there if you want to drop by.

Edit: You can also sign up for events(games) when you arrive.
