This is the rulebook for our ghost themed (haunted house) game called Ghostel (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/169475/ghostel) aimed at families (12+). Medium/Gateway weight. Which font do you think works best?

A looks better, in my opinion. Easier to read too.

I agree, A>B unless there is a slime element in the game somewhere.
Can you stretch it taller to make it look more wispy than bumpy? Thin font or italics?

+1 for font A as well.

B seems more bloody, less ghostly.

A. B is too bloody vampire/monster/zombie.

A has a better "read" to it but B has a better positive to negative space ratio--in other words, I prefer the way A looks by itself, but I prefer the way B looks integrated into the artwork in the book.

Definitely A. For a ghost game that just looks right; B looks vampireish.

I prefer B as black-on-white on the headings but A looks better on the cards.

+ 1 for A.

The other one reminds me more of a zombie theme.

I'd also say A mainly for the reason that it seems more "novel" to me. I feel like font B, or at least something very similar, has been used in too many other places already.

A!

(A poll would capture all of these without needing to scroll through the responses; on the other hand the responses bump the thread, so that's not a bad thing...)
