can a proximity mine (a tinkerer action card) be placed in a open door hex?

the card says that the mine must be placed in a adjacent unoccuped hex, but i don't know if a door hex fulfills this requeriment.

same question with placing the mine in a damage trap hex.

i'm really enjoying the print and play game. thanks.

Once a door is opened, it is considered to be an empty space. I think some terminology may be required in the rule book to distinguish between unoccupied (i.e. no figure in the hex) and empty (i.e. no figure, obstacle, trap, closed door, etc.). The proximity mine should probably then read "empty," so you wouldn't be able to place it on top of another trap.

Specific wording is very important to avoid rules confusions. Glad things like this are getting worked out before it's sent to the printers.

Yes you can put in an open door, or at least in front of it. I did exactly this when Isaac ran a demo for me and my friends. It was super satisfying to have the elite enemy walk into my trap and be killed. Completed my personal objective too

I place my tramp in front of door...he is sleeping...elite enemy trips over tramp...I get a mod for incapacited enemy and entanglement with tramp. Tramp gets free attack with half empty wine bottle...

The storyline is compelling
