Hello everybody! I wanted to know how your armies IN GENERAL (I know it depends on the scenario) looks like! Also if you made any experience with thr army packs tell me/us

I go on (just having basegame unfortunately):
With Uthuk I usually go with
3x Blood Harvesters
3x Flesh Rippers
2x Obscenes or Viper Legion depending upon the level
1x Chaoslord or more Viper Legion depending upon the level

Basically the same with the Daqan...I actually don't really trust archers yet.
So what are your experiences?

I use all the cavalry units and the Roc Warrior no matter what. I expect others do the same.

The Chaos Lord is too slow for my taste although his sheer power makes me use him 90% of the time. I tend to use more melee units than archers but it depends on the scenario.

I like the blood harvesters as they get strong late in the game.

The rune golems I tend to skip on most of the time. The Obscene units seem more useful and I use them on the front lines in most games.

The daqan archers are more useful overall and their army sets them up with some powerful ranged combos. I usually throw in one viper legion simply because I think there ability is fun. The Uthuk army doesn't really have much useful combos with the viper legion so I rarely use more than one.

I am looking forward to the elves as it will give the game an effective ranged army.

I haven't done this strategy yet, but I may try it when I play Daqan next.

x3 River watch Riders
x3 Citadel Lancers
x2 Razor Wings

All Calvary army... I think would pose trouble for an enemy force.

The only problem I see is that you could be outnumbered. Then again the cavalry units are so strong it might not even matter.

Agree! But if you think about it, the River Watch Riders can't be countered. The Razor Wings negate a dice from enemy melee units, and the Lancers can flank, with the River watchers, and charge. I think its a deadly force.

My favourite army so far was with the Daqan faction in a scenario in which I could get 1 VP by killing a troop with a ranged attack. The army was:

1x Siege Golem
3x Riverwatch Riders
3x Yeoman Archers
2x Citadel Guards
2x Crystal Spires

I put the Spiege Golem on a Crystal Spire with a troop of Guards to defend it, while the Riders were running around the board using lore cards to stun or damage the enemy's troops, while the Siege Golem was shooting from distance and rolling 6 dice. It was so much fun!

Until some time ago I was of the same opinion about archers, but now I think they are actually quite good, especially if you set up some cool combo

People don't run into problems having only one type of troop to command?

1 Roc Warrior
4 Citadel Guards
2 Greyhaven Battlemages
2 Rune Golems
1 Archers

or

1 Roc Warrior
2 Citadel Guards
3 Greyhaven Battlemages
2 Rune Golems
2 Citadel Lancers
1 Command Tent

I also customize my lore deck by removing costly cards and replace it with cheap and easy to play (especially against lore stealing Necromancers).
