They are both great games and you can't go wrong with either.

I would probably rank Marco Polo a bit higher for replayability.

This! Both are excellent. Marc Polo is a little meatier. I enjoy the brain burn from optimizing your roll each turn as you try to hit your game end objectives.

I thought Orleans was okay, but nothing special. I would play it again if someone suggested it, but I don't need to. It is also quite fiddly with lots and lots of little chits.

Marco Polo was more exciting and seems to have more replayability.
