Now that there are reprints in several languages available, I was wondering if there are any plans for a German reprint. Pretty please?

Danke

I know Plissk3n has begun translating Mystery of the Hanging Man into German to share. If you're fluent in English and want to continue, I can show you where he left off.
Warning: The Kosmo edition isn't (yet) compatible with Mystery of the Hanging Man in English, sorry.

After my first attempt in November, I contacted Space Cowboys again regarding a possible German version and quickly received their answer.
They said they couldn't give any date because it is a long work, but it is in their projects.
I don't know about their schedule, but for me it seems very unlikely that it will be before next year.

Thanks for the update! Even though it seems like we will still have to wait quite a while, I am happy that there is at least some hope, after all.

I had asked them the same question last fall and I received the answer that they couldn't really tell, because the ultimate decision lay with Asmodee Europe and they didn't know what Asmodee had planed.

I've asked Asmodee Germany on twitter one month ago if SHCD will be released this year.
This was their answer:
That's why I backed Chronicles of Crime on Kickstarter

It's no "yes", sure, but it's a "We're thinking about it", which is definately better than nothing. And it makes "Watson & Holmes" suddenly much more interesting for me and my friends.

Well, I haven't played Watson & Holmes so far. Why do you think it's so bad? Just because it's more like a multiplayer-solitaire with little to none player interaction?

On a side note:
Does anyone know if there were any errors in the German 80ies Franckh edition? I got that one in a trade and don't want to experience frustrating moments because of unplayable errors.
Thanks!
