Jumping Spider (2 per side)



Movement - must move 3 spaces and leap across a row of tiles in one turn (combines the ability of a Spider and Grasshopper)
order of movement does not matter ex: move,move,move,leap move,leap,move,move, etc.

Special Ability - N/A

Mosquito Interaction - Mosquito copies movement

The checker bug idea has been one I've always thought had merit.

By that I mean the bug moves by jumping exactly one other piece. The bug can then move repeatedly as long as it only jumps a single piece.

A piece jumped cannot be jumped again on the same move.

I have proposed this "bug" two years ago, which is almost 2 years before rmingersoll proposed his version. They are quite similar.

It's one of my favorite movements. Ingersoll's version is exactly the same as my version (moves 3 spaces of which one should be a jump but it could only jump over a single tile). However I added more power to the Jumper by being able to end its movement on top of the regular Spider and move like a regular Spider while on top of it by dragging the regular Spider underneath along with it.

Yes, I proposed this movement 2 years ago with the introduction of the Cricket. And I appreciate your comment on my Geek list. It had the most favorable reaction of all the bugs I proposed, probably because the movement is so simple and can easily be incorporated as an expansion piece.
