so Im making a space game, and I need something to represent colonies.

I preferably want them clear so the player can see though them easily, but at a glance you can see who owns the system.

Im looking at these http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51G6rOmfBpL._SY355_.jp...

I need about 10 of each color. (Red, yellow, blue, purple, grey/black, and green)

Anyone know where I can get something like that?

Also My games board is 24x24, split into 4 12x12 segments and fold up to fit into a 12x12 box (its slightly bigger)

I cant seem to find anything like that on thegamecrafters. Where can I get a professional board with art and whatnot. The game just needs minor tweaking on two things (Been in development for a while) but one thing thats been pretty consistent is the board, I dont see it needing any changes, so Im wanting to go ahead and get the board.

I have some transparent plastic counters in my stash that may be the sort of thing you need.

Craft stores or Amazon are fine for small amounts of them. If you want to get a bunch (for multiple prototypes), you may consider

CAVEAT: I have not ordered from them yet, so YMMV.

These are not transparent (except for the domes), but since you are talking about space colonies, I must mention Alien Frontiers: Upgrade Pack.

For prototyping purposes - Tiddlywinks. Plastic ones are translucent

As for the board - is there any way it can be shrunk to 18"x18" or 20" to 20"? I see those everywhere. Plus, the box is smaller which as a gamer, I prefer.

The aformentioned bingo chip work. I have seen them locally in green, blue and red.

Glass beads also work.

Though I would not really want to have to read information under a transparent piece. That can be difficult for some depending on the colour and thickness.

You might be better off with individually coloured structures like most games use so you can tell who owns what at a glance without having to peer at what is under the piece.
