HAVE YOU EVER PAINT WITH CARDS?
Time duration: 45 -60 minutes
Players : 1 or more
Category : Matching and "coloring"
The game starts with this questions to the child . “Have you painted with pencils? and have you ever paint with CARDS?!
The game is inspired in the classic “find the couple”
The game is composed by a deck of 90 cards , the cards have six colors , numbers from 1 to 5 and three suits “Rock, paper, scissors”. The colors of the front the card is shown in the back of the card
At the first game the parents show a picture of what the childs have to paint. Something like this:
A Rainbow is formed with the cards face down:
The parents will explain that to take the cards to paint there are some rules :
1.-They will say the colors of the two cards to be taken . For example “you have to take one card blue and another yellow”
2.-The child will take one of those colors and it will be face up , and then the parents , before the child takes the other one , will say which couple he has to find , of number or of suit (It is easier to match the suits.)
3.-The child then will discover a card from the second color
if they match , the child takes the cards as PRIZE! , and he can use it to "paint" part of the picture shown before
If not , the cards are face down again
The parents will give clues to the child where is the card he has to face up.
After Step 3 , we go again to step1 until the picture is finished.
After the picture is finished if the child wants to play more , the picture drawn with the cards is use to paint the second one : could be another photo picture or he can draw whatever he wants

If given the option, I would prefer to play with the green pieces, please.
I have two new 9 Card Games: 300 Spartans and Franky's 1st Christmas
This looks cool!

Very nice idea! but playtime is too long, I recommand not to use 4&5 cards.

Its true , but is no need it to reduce the rainbow of cards , just to reduce the amount of cards in the picture to draw .
We will make some drawings with less cards .
However here you can see more drawings with cards
