A recent e-Mail (electronic mail) exchange included a suggestion by a particularly disgruntled Mike McAllister--when it was alleged that Mike hates the game because he can't figure out the Titan HTA roadsigns--that Titan is nothing more than an advanced version of Sorry!

Discuss.

Why would I want to discuss an email I haven't read from a person I don't know?

Who was the email exchange between? What is the context behind what was said?

As far as the minimal information we have goes, I can only say that comparing Titan to Sorry is like comparing Twilight Imperium to Risk.

Its only under attack if you bring it up here and try to give it credibility.

Maybe you would have a better chance of starting a flame war in the Sorry! forum. I'm sure its numerous fans will be outraged at the suggestion that a more "advanced" version of this masterpiece is even possible.

An advanced version of Sorry! and Snakes and Ladders would been more accurate.

If you could touch the alien sand and hear the cries of strange birds and watch them wheel in another sky, would that satisfy you?

Was there more to the argument, or was this it?

Go really needs to allow for more players and shorter games if it ever expects to compete in the current Eurogame environment.

The poster above the "Ask, and ye shall receive" apparently. No clue what his qualifications or background might be.

He's on the internet. Isn't that qualification enough?

Any relation to Titan co-designer Jason B. McAllister?

The poster with zero substantive contributions to BGG (e.g., reviews, game ratings, game comments) and fewer than a dozen total posts?

We are all REALLY impressed.

Forget all that. I'm much more puzzled by the hyphenation/capitalization of Email (now very much a word in its own right) as "e-Mail" and the clarification that it stands for "electronic mail".

Is this 1995!?!
