Designer John Fiorillo wrote a blog post about the new Insight mechanic in the set.

TL;DR: Less random. More strategy. Before the game you draft a small private deck of cards that only you can buy from. You buy from it using a new resource called Insight or by fulfilling a prerequisite during the game. You can now build your deck around completing a pre-req known at the start of the game.

Looks good! But I admit that when he started talking about the Treasure cards that I hoped they would make a comeback. RoV is my favorite set and I'd love to see more Treasures.

I'm hoping we could get another set of Event cards. Those really added a whole other dimension to those on the power heavy side.

Both are being discussed as "micro-expansions". Stay tuned!

I enjoy adding the "leader" cards before the game begins, since it helps give you some focus for a particular game, rather than just taking whatever is in the middle.

I'll also be hoping this is available on the app store since I play a lot of games there.

I'm sure it will make it to the digital version, probably not the same day the physical copy releases, but it will get there.

I'll be following this with interest. My group has all of the expansions and play all the time--to be honest, though, the other players like it more than I do. I want to like the games, but the swingy power cards usually ruin some of the fun for me (even if it's me that gets them). I'm hoping this is the one for me!

Excellent! I've always really liked the Event Cards and I'd love to get some more of them.
